We are really thrilled to have been nominated in the 'Most Sustainable Floristry Innovation' category at the 2023 Interflora World Cup (the Olympics of floristry!). The Interflora World Cup is the world's largest floristry competition occurring once every four years. This year's competition was themed "Our Natural World," with a focus on sustainability and natural materials.
We attended the event in Manchester from 7-9 September 2023, and as well as attending as an exhibitor we were also invited by the Interflora team to repurpose as many flowers as possible after competition finished. It was absolutely wonderful to recycle and repurpose so many stunning floral instillations, all made possible by the fantastic Interflora team. We were in awe of the phenomenal floral instillations on display and we're so grateful to have had the opportunity to repurpose the flowers afterwards.
The well-deserved winner of the competition was Phoam Labs who make compostable floral foam from plant-based materials, florists please check them out - they are amazing!
